Kaci is a military spouse and mom of two. She recently spent two years living on the island of Guam, where she explored the gorgeous jungles and beaches with her husband and kids. She loves all things National Parks, hiking, camping, reading while sipping coffee, and book club. 

Her award-winning novel, Along the Trail, (historical fiction with a romantic subplot, set on the Oregon Trail) released in October of '25 with The Wild Rose Press. 

Born in Missouri, she was raised in Kansas City, a mere 20 minutes from the town of Independence, where the Westward trails began. 

Kaci wrote various blogs for the non-profit, Mission:Milspouse, throughout 2024/25, and now creates blog content for the Veteran Spouse Project. A member of the Military Writers Society of America, she is honored to share her own experiences through her writing, and to help fellow military spouses navigate the unique challenges that military families face today.
