Press Kit

Kaci Curtis is an author who's debut historical fiction novel, 'Along the Trail' (with The Wild Rose Press), is set for release in the summer/fall of 2025. She is passionate about the history of the American frontier, its Native Tribes and Peoples, and wildlife. She has done extensive research about the Westward trails, and aims to be as historically accurate as possible while capturing the nuance and realities of life on the trail in the 1840s.

Born in Missouri, she was raised in Kansas City, a mere 20 minutes from the town of Independence, where the Westward trails began. Since marrying a military man, she has lived in Mississippi (twice!), California, and most recently, the island of Guam. She loves the outdoors, and has camped and hiked in 18 national parks. Her bucket list is to hike in each and every National Park in the US with her family.
