I'm thrilled to announce that Along the Trail WON the 2026 'Women Writing the West' Willa Award in the YA category! 

This is a huge honor, and I'm very grateful to the judges and everyone over at Women Writing the West for seeing something special in my writing, and in this story. I will be unable to attend their annual conference and award ceremony in October, but I'm blessed to say that members of WWW will do a reading from my book for me at the banquet, even though I cannot physically attend. 

I'm still pinching myself, and I can't wait to put the beautifully etched trophy on my writing desk!
